i watch my boys laugh and roll
and tumble in the snow
piled a foot high and a mile wide,
the sun is blinding against the white
like we were all just meant
to shut our eyes and jump into the pile.
softly the sense that she is here
overcomes me and i smile
as the tiny specks of dusty cold
swirl around us in the fun
i realize
that it probably snows in heaven, too.
