this old new house

i don’t have a place to put this
it’s too large for the living room
and i really don’t want it in the bedroom
(with the nightmares and everything)

i keep looking
but no spot seems right

probably because houses were not made
to hold such things

memories, yes
but death without memories —

no, that is too sad for any home
to share
