Henry’s baptism

the last time we were all together for a baptism
we were also burying a baby

but today’s baptism was a celebration,
a welcoming of new life.

today is pure joy for everyone,
but me.

for me, there is deep joy and deep sadness.

for me, it is still another day
without her.
