i started off with so many questions
and still have many unanswered
God’s word seems so strange to me sometimes
like leaving the ground in a 747
or diving deep into a clear body of water
elements all familiar
yet packaged with enough confusion to raise doubt
other times His truth is more true
that the parts of me that are actually known to me
the obsession grows, willingly
as the books stack high along the shelf
and i make an appointment
to soon get my vision checked
