lit up graves

i had never visited the cemetery at dusk
but i just found a stone with a snowflake painted on it
and i had to bring it to her right away
(or maybe i found something so i would have to bring it to her right away)

as i wound my way through the graves
i saw some were glowing with the little light
of plastic cherubs and angels

i didn’t even know you could put lights on graves

i wonder what death will teach me next
