it’s national pregnancy and infant loss awareness month
and loss moms shout “our babies died!”
amidst the noise of living children
we cry and shout and scream
so you might hear us
but most do not
it does not matter though
this month and all the others, we will keep speaking their names
not so you will hear them
but so our babies will know
we will always say them —
we will always speak their names
